Note: Make sure to check out my Instagram, it would mean a lot!
So, I’m planning to add a sister Q&A onto my blog a bit later on, and it will be featuring my younger sister (of course) – you can find her on Instagram: @muaromaani. In the meantime, I thought I would do a Q&A on moi, just so you can get to know a bit more about me. I don’t really like to answer boring questions (seriously, who does?) so I’ve gained a little bit of inspiration from my trusted friend, the internet.
Just as a warning, if you think the questions are completely bizarre, then the internet is most likely why. The web is a strange and wonderful place, just saying. With that said, let’s hop right in.
I’ll start off with the easier questions:
What are your hobbies?
If you’ve read my post, ‘Why I Blog’, you’ll know that my main hobbies are writing and anything related to art (mostly painting, drawing and photography). However, I’ve also been an avid reader since around the age of 11, and I also love spending time with my family, including my two dog-babies.
Do you have any pets?
Well, I’ve already touched on this. I have two dog-babies called Lottie and Splodge, and they’re the cutest little things! I love them both equally, although it always amuses me as to how different the two of them are. Splodge is younger, but she’s the leader and is always up to mischief. Lottie is a little older and much more laid-back. She lets Splodge do whatever she pleases – including jumping all over her!
What three words would you use to describe yourself?
Hmm, this one’s tricky. If I had to sum myself up in three words, I’d probably say: Shy, intelligent, and kind. I like to make sure that everyone’s okay. I also listen to people when they need me to, and give them advice. I can be quiet at first, but once you get to know me, that soon changes!
What are your dislikes?
I have many, if I’m being honest. They’re all completely random. I don’t like people who lie or bully to get what they want, I just think that’s unkind. I’m not a fan of pet names, like ‘baby’ or ‘honey,’ or anything like that. I also don’t like certain foods, like mashed potato (I’ve hated it since I was three!) Finally, I absolutely hate it when the Wi-Fi decides to play up! It really irritates me.
So, that’s the first tier.
It goes up to four tiers, and the further down you go, the more complex the questions get.
Time for tier two:
If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, what would it be?
This one’s a bit more interesting, don’t you think? I would quite like to live in Harry Potter and go to Hogwarts. Who doesn’t want to be a wizard? I would also want my own personal wand and to be friends with Hermione.
Where do you see yourself in five years?
Doing what I’m doing now – being a full-time blogger! I see myself making a career out of something I love, and choosing my own work schedule. I want to be in control of my work-life balance.
If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would it be?
I currently live in England, and I’ve never travelled abroad. I would love to go to a foreign country and explore their culture. I would particularly like to go to Italy, France, Germany, and Amsterdam, because of their well renowned beauty.
Just two more tiers to go!
Here’s the third:
In what ways do you hold yourself back?
I always underestimate myself, even when I know I shouldn’t. I also don’t always have the confidence to go ahead with what it is that I would like to do, which is something that I need to work on. If you also feel like this, I would say go for whatever it is that makes you happy – it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks! Life is for living, not to be held back by others’ standards. Always remember that.
If you could live forever, how would you spend eternity?
This is a boring answer, but I wouldn’t really want to live forever. It would mean having to watch the people that I love grow old, and nothing would ever stick around or stay the same. I would much prefer to live a normal lifespan and spend it being happy with my family.
And lastly, the final tier:
How do you want to be remembered?
I would like to be remembered as a well-known and successful author, and for my works to be read throughout the generations to come. It sounds a bit vain, but it’s also true. I would like people to love my work as much as I loved coming up with it, and bringing it to life.
If you could get away with a crime, would you? If yes, what would it be?
This one is really out there. I honestly don’t think I would commit a crime. I’m a firm believer of karma, and so I think that whatever I put out into the universe will come straight back to me, eventually. However, if you’ve heard of the film ‘The Purge’ (where everything is made legal for one night a year), I would probably go down to a tech shop and take my dream phone. Sorry, not sorry.
That’s it! Hope you enjoyed my very in-depth Q&A – I had fun writing it.
I would love to hear your answers to any of these questions, so please comment them below.
As usual, thanks for reading this far J.
Until next time,
