Favourite Online Jewellery Store Ft. Empty Casket
NOTE: This is not a sponsored post.
This blog post may be a little bit shorter than some of my others because I only have one online jewellery store that I like to visit. I know, I’m boring. I need to explore more. The truth is, I don’t wear that much jewellery. Not because I don’t want to, I’m a massive fan of necklaces and bracelets (and rings, depending on the designs) – but I’m lacking a little bit in the financial department. It’s quite frustrating, but luckily this online shop isn’t incredibly expensive a lot of the time, which is why I love it!
So, my favourite jewellery store of all time is Empty Casket (you can find them on Instagram at @emptycasket). They have some beautiful jewellery pieces which are typically bohemian in design; maybe even slightly gothic. The reason I love this company so much is because when I first came across them on Facebook a while back, I immediately loved the pieces that were featured in their ad. Their jewellery is unique and beautifully crafted, and they feature a lot of detail in their etchings.
They have everything – from cute little pendants and crystals, to skull rings. Another nice feature is that they often have discounts. They have a permanent 10% discount with the code ‘INSTA’ – just look at their Instagram feed for confirmation before ordering though! Some of their pieces also come in a cute, mini velvet drawstring pouch, which is a nice touch.
I’m going to be honest, though. If you prefer a premium look and feel to your jewellery that’s often found with more expensive jewellery, then perhaps this store isn’t for you. Empty Casket isn’t exactly on par with Pandora, but the quality of their jewellery (as far as I’m concerned) is of a good quality, and it’s far from tacky. Upon further research, I can also confirm that a lot of their jewellery is in fact made from sterling silver.
I live in the UK and as it’s a UK-based company, the delivery isn’t incredibly expensive. It’s around £5 for First Class signed postage, and should arrive within a week or so. For European and International orders the price is a bit more expensive, and the delivery time is usually 2-3 weeks, depending on where you live. However, if you spend over a certain amount then worldwide shipping is free, which is worth noting.
So far, I’ve managed to obtain a small collection of Empty Casket’s pendants, which I grabbed while they were still on sale. You’ll be able to see them in the pictures below. The black pendant came without a chain, although at the time it was only a few pounds! I also have what’s called a ‘spiritual’ necklace from their collection, and when I first saw it I had to have it. I haven’t been able to find anything like it anywhere else online, and it was only around £10.
That’s another thing that I like about Empty Casket. Their pieces are so unique and they can really make a statement – especially when combined. I like that I’m able to express my personality through their jewellery and I’m comfortable in knowing that the pieces I purchase may be hard to find elsewhere. I’m still annoyed that I didn’t manage to get hold of one of their bohemian-inspired coin necklaces, come to think of it. It was a stunning piece and was only around the £10-£12 mark.
Anyway, if you like jewellery that’s a little bit different and is a bolder than the rest, then I would recommend checking out Empty Casket (via their Instagram, or through their online store, www.emptycasket.co.uk). You won’t break the bank, and they provide a reliable service*.
I’ve done another blog post featuring Empty Casket and some of their pieces that are on my wish list. If you want to read it, you can click here.
That’s all for this time. If you have any suggestions on what you’d like me to write about on my blog, then please comment them below.
Until next time,
